today's lesson, trying to ask questions in Italian and translate short Italian sentences! I’ve also started learning the present tense conjugation of regular verbs, which I need to memorise. Another fun and engaging lesson that leaves me feeling energised afterwards!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great conversation with Anna. We discuss different topics every week, and I’m learning words I’ve never used before. Her ability to translate words from English is especially helpful. My vocabulary is definitely improving.

Today, I asked Giada to review our previous lesson instead of moving on to new topics. She was very patient and adjusted the lesson to my needs. I felt much more confident than last time, and she helped me understand which areas of my pronunciation still need improvement. I really appreciate her teaching style, encouragement, and detailed feedback. Every lesson makes me more motivated to keep learning Italian!

Sonia has become one of my favourite teachers, and what makes her particularly special for me is the way she communicates. She has experience in cinema and filming, and you can really feel that background in the way she expresses herself. She seems naturally gifted at communicating thoughts and feelings in a very vivid, engaging and emotionally connected way, but at the same time it also feels like something she has consciously developed and trained. There is both talent and craft behind it. She is eloquent without ever sounding formal or artificial. She is relaxed, friendly, easygoing and genuinely fun to talk to, and we have even joked a bit during our conversations. At the same time, she has a way of expressing herself that encourages you to go beyond simply finding the correct Italian words and to try to communicate something more personal, expressive and emotionally meaningful. That is particularly valuable for me because one of my main reasons for learning Italian is to be able to connect with Italians in real life, understand something about their lives and personalities, and have genuine conversations rather than just practise a language. Sonia is very open and naturally shares things about herself and her perspective, so talking with her does not feel like simply meeting an Italian teacher. It feels like actually getting to know an Italian person. For me, that makes the language feel alive. If you are looking for someone who is warm, expressive, interesting and fun, and who can help you experience Italian as a real means of human connection rather than just a subject to study, I would very strongly recommend Sonia.

I started learning Italian again mainly because of an upcoming trip, but one of my original motivations for learning the language has always been my love of Italian opera. Being able to understand even a little more of what I am listening to would make something I already love even more enjoyable. That is one of the reasons I have really enjoyed my conversations with Lucia. She sings opera herself, and as someone who loves opera, that immediately gave us something meaningful to connect over. She has even sung for me during our conversations, which was a particularly lovely and memorable touch. Beyond that, Lucia is simply very easy to talk to. She is friendly, relaxed, open-minded and flexible, and conversation with her feels natural and unforced. It is more like chatting and chilling with a cool Italian friend than having a formal language lesson, which is exactly the kind of practice I was looking for. She is also versatile in conversation, so it is easy to move between different topics and keep talking for a long time. The fact that she also speaks a little French is an interesting bonus for someone like me who enjoys languages. If you are looking for relaxed, natural Italian conversation with someone warm, interesting and easygoing—and especially if you happen to love music or opera—I can definitely recommend Lucia.

I really enjoyed my trial lesson with Riccardo. I’m a complete beginner in Italian, but he made the class relaxed, comfortable, and easy to follow. His explanations in English were very clear, and I especially liked that he took my background as a chef into consideration and suggested including cooking, recipes, and Italian food culture in future lessons. I chose Giuditta because I was looking mainly for relaxed Italian conversation rather than a formal lesson, and she has been perfect for that. She has a very warm, gentle and easygoing personality, and speaking with her feels natural from the beginning. She gives you the impression of that lovely Italian friend you would genuinely enjoy sitting down and having a long conversation with. She is young, versatile and very easy to talk to, so the conversation can move naturally across many different subjects without ever feeling forced. She is also a singer, which adds another interesting dimension to her personality and makes the interaction even more multifaceted. Her style is relaxed, friendly and engaging. The interaction is lively in a very natural way, which I personally find ideal for conversation practice. You can speak, explore different topics, make mistakes and simply enjoy using Italian without feeling that you are in a rigid classroom environment. If your goal is to practise Italian through warm, natural and varied conversation, Giuditta is an excellent choice.

I chose Gianluca specifically because I was looking for conversation practice rather than formal Italian lessons, and for that purpose he has been great. What first caught my attention was his energy and relaxed, friendly personality in his introduction video, and that is exactly how he is in person: authentic, enthusiastic, open-minded and very easy to talk to. Conversation flows naturally with him, which is exactly what I wanted—to practise speaking Italian in a relaxed environment rather than feeling that I was following a traditional class. He is flexible and adapts very naturally to where the conversation goes, while still helping you use and improve your Italian. It feels much more like having a good conversation with a cool Italian friend than sitting through a language lesson, and for conversational practice I think that is a real strength. He is also a pianist and a sort of chef, which I found interesting and just adds another dimension to his personality and to the range of things you can talk about. If your goal is to become more comfortable actually speaking Italian through natural, enjoyable conversation, I can definitely recommend Gianluca.

Anna is a very patient and practical teacher. I’m a complete beginner in Italian, but she made the lesson easy to follow and focused on useful Italian that I can actually use in the kitchen and at work. I especially liked the practical approach and role-play. It made the lesson feel relevant to my real life as a chef. I really enjoyed the class and look forward to learning more with her!

Really enjoyed classes with Jessica. Jess explained grammar clearly, guided me with patience and helped me fix the mistakes I made by leading me, so I can figure out how I made the mistake. I recommended her to anyone interested in learning Italian.

Another amazing lesson! I’m still a complete beginner in Italian, but I learned so much during our class. We worked on reflexive verbs, their non-reflexive forms, how they are different, and how to use them correctly. I learned a new Italian expressions , vocabulary, and fillers. He is a really great teacher! In just 25 minutes, I learned something new even though I started Italian completely from zero. I decided to challenge myself even more by learning Italian through Spanish. I do get confused at times, especially when my Spanish and Italian start mixing in my head, but he is very patient with me and explains everything clearly. Today's lesson covered singular/plural and masculine/feminine grammar, as well as medical vocabulary, and finished with a review of ordering at restaurants. I still often forget to use the correct article, but Kevin is very patient and includes plenty of conversation practice in every lesson, which has really helped me improve in actual usage.

I can already feel my confidence increasing slightly! And it is largely due to the way that Bea is super helpful with not just corrections in pronunciation but explaining how and why a particular verb or phrase is used instead of another. Wonderful!
